Adaiah

Meaning: the Lord has adorned

6. a son of Bani who divorced his pagan wife after the Captivity (Ezra 10:29. His brothers Meshullam, Malluch, Jashub, and Sheal, and Ramoth did so also.

7. another man named Adaiah who did the same / He was the son of Binnui, and along with his brothers, Shimei, Shelemiah, and Nathan divorced their pagan wives (Ezra 10:39).

8. a man of royalty blood in the line of David (through Perez) / He was the father of Hazaiah, and the son of Joiarib, and grandson of Zechariah (Nehemiah 11:5).

9. a Levite / the son of Jeroham, grandson of Pelaliah, and great, greatgrandson of Zechariah, son of Pashur (Nehemiah 11:12).
