Meaning: fertile places; the loins

a town of Issachar, on the slopes of some mountain between Jezreel and Shunem (Josh. 19:18)

It has been identified with Chisloth-tabor, 2 1/2 miles to the west of Mount Tabor, and north of Jezreel; now Iksal.
