Shaalabbin (or Shaal'bim)

Meaning: a place of foxes

a town of the tribe of Dan (Josh. 19:42; Judg. 1:35)

It was one of the chief towns from which Solomon drew his supplies (1 Kings 4:9). It is probably the modern village of Selbit, 3 miles north of Ajalon.
